Not sure if you realise that some of these gorgeous brooches are copies, hopefully legal, of those produced by French jewellery maker Lea Stein. As far as I know there is only one licenced importer of her brooches in Australia – a jewellery store in Paddington.
Hi Sandra – thanks for your comment. No we weren’t aware of this, and definitely it is a concern for us as we’re careful of what we stock here at Follow with respect to all designers & artists. Young & old! We’ll follow up with the designer.
Yes, I am wondering the same thing as Sandra. These definitely appear to be copies of Lea Stein brooches. Any luck following up with the ‘designer’?
Hi Georgia – we will be no longer selling the cat/fox brooches that look the original Lea Stein brooches. We have decided to sell the rest of the animal brooches we have in stock, however we will no longer be stocking Erstwilder in the future.
